The Guelph Line desk

This page explains who keeps the guide and how it works. It covers the Guelph Line desk and how each fact gets checked and dated. It also covers the pictures, the money, and where letters go.

Who keeps the guide

Every page in this guide is written and edited by the Guelph Line desk, which signs its work as one. No single writer is credited anywhere. There is no personal byline and no names.

Nothing ties the desk to a venue. It works for no casino, racetrack or operator, and it takes no bets. You cannot open an account here, because there is nothing to open.

How the facts get checked

The Guelph Line desk takes hours, addresses and phone numbers from two places. These are the venues' own pages and the pages of OLG, the AGCO and iGaming Ontario. Each fact is filed with its source and the date it was read, in October 2026.

When official pages disagree, the desk leaves the value out. That is why you will find no machine or table counts here. It is also why the racing season has no end date on this site.

Distances are straight lines between fixed points, not road distances. Nobody here gives drive times, since the 401 decides those on its own. Clocks are read in Ontario time. The Mohawk floor is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The poker room runs Thursday to Sunday, noon to 4 AM, so Sunday's shift ends Monday morning.

Where the pictures come from

An image generator made the escarpment countryside at dusk, which shows no particular place. It also made the quiet slot floor on the poker room page, from a real photograph of the Mohawk floor. Any people in those pictures are invented. The track at night and the casino entrances are free-licence photographs from Wikimedia Commons, with author and licence under each. Some were edited, and the Image sources list below gives author, licence and changes for every photograph.

How the guide is paid

No casino pays for this guide, and neither do Woodbine, Great Canadian or OLG. The only commission links are on the home page: the Casino online button in the header and two blocks lower down. Each is tagged Ad and routes through an address on this site to an online casino partner that can change. The site is paid a commission on them, and no page shows joining offers or other inducements. The Advertising page sets out the details.

Where to write

Mail for the guide goes to desk@campbellvillecasino.com. Send a note if a fact looks wrong, if an hour has changed, or if the way the guide works is unclear. That mailbox serves the guide alone and speaks for no casino, racetrack or operator. Questions about a venue are better put to its own phone line.
